Nice Club
The club itself is really nice. I was there on Friday and Saturday. Drag show was ok. The lady where you pay to go in appears to be tired and unhappy. Bartenders takes your drink order and that's about it. No other communication from them. The music was really nice. Parking was not free. Did not feel like a true Gay Bar. The crowd was mostly white middle age. I will go back again to check it out.
Fun, But Chilly
Nice club, but the staff were less than friendly. We definitely were not feeling an abundance down-home southern charm...but there were drag queens. Who were we kidding, right?
fun and friendly!
the cabaret was fantastic! i feel that attending the shows are definitely the best part of going here. the entertainers put alot of hard work into their performances...
Not a #1 club
Having lived in Savannah for years and now return to visit on a regular basis I wish a gay club would be built that would truly hold the title of #1. Club One is dirty inside with very poor ventilation. It smells terrible and the smoke fills the place to where your eyes water if you are a nonsmoker. They need to revamp the place, the third floor stage area for the shows is old, small, and the folding chairs uncomfortable. With a charge for the shows, expensive drinks and how this place has let itself go it's time for remodeling or a new club to open in Savannah that can replace this one. Club One though does have a great sound system on the second floor but dance area is way too small.
Best in Savannah
I haven't been in awhile, but this used to be the best gay bar in Savannah, and the only real gay 'club'! Great Drag shows too. Make sure to catch Lady Chablis!
